Frequently Asked Questions
What betting strategy should I use?
Beginners should start with flat betting (same amount every bet). As you gain experience and can accurately estimate win probabilities, percentage-based or Kelly Criterion strategies can maximize growth.
Why use Half Kelly instead of Full Kelly?
Full Kelly assumes perfect probability estimation. Since real-world estimates are imperfect, Half Kelly (0.5 fraction) provides similar long-term growth with much lower variance and risk of ruin.
How do I estimate my win probability?
Track your historical performance by bet type and sport. If you've won 55 of your last 100 NFL spread bets, your estimated win probability is 55%. Be conservative - overestimating leads to overbetting.
Is my session data saved?
Yes, your session data is saved in your browser's local storage. It persists between visits but is only stored on your device - we never see your betting data.
